Qualifying Deadline - No later than 12:00 NOON prevailing time, candidates seeking office must file their nominating petitions with the Shelby County Election Commission Office.

First Day to Request Absentee Ballot for August 3rd Special Election

• 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

The Absentee Ballot Request Application is available today. The request is due by July 27, 2023. Please send in your request as soon as possible to assure your ballot is received in time.

Last Day to Withdraw for the June 15, 2023, Special Primary Election

• 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Today is the last day (Noon) for a candidate to withdraw from the June 15, 2023 Special Primary Election.
