LINDA'S LETTER

I don’t think most voters understand the importance of keeping their residential addresses up to date with the Election Commission. We need this information, not only to assign you to the correct precinct but also to communicate necessary information to you. For instance, if your polling location were to change, we would send you a letter advising you of it. If you hadn’t gotten the letter, you would likely go to the polling location for your old address to vote. Then you would fill out a change of address form and would be instructed to vote at your new polling location. Save yourself the frustration and promptly update your voter registration. If you have a Tennessee ID, it’s easy to do online.
